Galaxy SMaybe you were using Chrome Beta, because that's how it is now on Chrome Beta.

Galaxy SK - Just go to Settings in Chrome & Scroll down to "Toolbar Shortcut" and then click Click on "New Tab".
You'll have it back the way it was.
You must have been messing with Chrome's Settings 😉

Galaxy SNo, you don't have to use Chrome//Flags, just go to Settings in Chrome & change it as in the screen shot.
Chrome//Flags are experimental, and if you don't know what you're doing, you can end up with issues that, unless the person who is trying to help you with, it knows that you are using Chrome//Flags, it's just takes forever.. to figure out what is going on. And, you're welcome 🙂

Galaxy SI'm pretty sure that if you posted a screen shot of Chrome's Settings, Toolbar Shortcut would be there.
