Hello guys,

I have a weird problem on my samsung galaxy s23+. When i connect to my car multimedia via bluetooth, the keyboard in all apps show for split second and then dissapears, and when i try to type again it happens again and again. I need to disconnect it from the bluetooth if i want to type a message or type a song on youtube which is frustrating. I'm not connected to wifi in car, so i cant type on multimedia itself, but the keyboard on it works perfectly!

Thanks for help in advance.

Hi Coredokyo,

We understand how frustrating this must be. It sounds like your phone's keyboard may be detecting your car's Bluetooth system as an external input device, causing it to disappear.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

Enable On-Screen Keyboard: Go to Settings > General Management > Physical Keyboard. Toggle “Show On-Screen Keyboard” to ON.

Check Bluetooth Input Settings: Navigate to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth. Tap the gear icon next to your car’s Bluetooth connection. If there is an option related to "Input Device" or "Keyboard," try disabling it.

Reset Bluetooth Settings: Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset your Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and mobile network settings.

Test in Safe Mode: Restart your device in Safe Mode (Press and hold Power Button > Tap and hold Power Off > Select Safe Mode). If the issue doesn’t happen in Safe Mode, a third-party app may be interfering.

If the issue persists, please ensure your device software and car’s firmware are up to date. Let us know if this helps!

Thank you.
