I have gotten pretty fed up with how bad the Samsung voice to text had been so I tried integrating Google's voice input instead. Obviously it works better but the problem is that clicking Google voice input for some reason has to pop out a whole separate keyboard just for it. Now you have to go back just to hit enter. So the only other option was to try and see if I can put with my Gboard again. Gboard has somethings I am not a fan and I prefer the setup it of my Samsung keyboard. However, with everything there's pros and cons. My decision had to be Gboard because of the voice input as a main factor and it got points for the autocorrect (finally apostrophes that fill themselves). It had other useful tools which made the switch not so painful. Overall Gbaord is better for reliability. I would still love to use the Samsung keyboard for the customization. The problem is Samsung doesn't seem to care about integrating third-party stuff into their phone which I can understand. But I mean if you are not doing it well right now (voice to text, auto correct) just hand off that control to someone else and integrate it well. That way people would still be happily buying Samsung phones and not want to switch to Google. I don't know if you need to pay for a license to use their software or if they think of it as a bonus because Google is able to survey us some more in places we don't realize. But I do think more effort need to be put into integrating these phones. I wish the voice input didn't jump to a new screen so I could just keep my Samsung one. Then I go to Gboard and I wish that Samsung allowed me to put a microphone in the navigation bar like their layout. Maybe that's not something you can control but the voice input was. I've ran into man problems after getting this phone that took lots of time to figure out. There are too many little tricks, is it supposed to be this hard to use a phone? Is that the trade off for going with the customisable Android and not a stable iPhone?

PS: 1. The NFC security key issue with Yubikey also is a major letdown. Only way to get it to work is create U2F through USB on the computer or phone, each account is again picky, then I can use U2F through NFC on the phone.
2. In AI Select after I click the scan text option and go to select my text why are you resizing the bubble? It screws things up and I can't select my text anymore. Keep the bubble stationary during text selection only let it be resized if text is not highlighted.
3. Add per app sound control for system sound please. Everytime I want to remove the sound off something it's through system sound which we have nothing but one channel to control things with. For example, Google Voice Input ding or Samsung wallet card quick access sounds.

I've been using Samsung phones for over a decade and I will always support Samsung but I think some focus needs to be shifted in being compatible. Samsung does many things well but Samsung can't do everything. It feels like they want to and I appreciate the effort because lots of great things have come from it. For one, Samsung Gallery's integration with OneDrive will probably have me using Samsung for the rest of my life. The My Files app, I love it. And there is nothing like the Secure Folder.

I hope things improve and I'm looking forward to what's to come.

Try using SwiftKey Keyboard, if you haven't already tried it.

I've never really used Samsung's keyboard, and I've tried GBoard, but SwiftKey is what I use.

With SwiftKey, you tap the "microphone" on the keyboard and you see the following.

It's very straightforward.
