So there I was, bored and scrolling through my phone sittings and I ventured into accessibility and then installed apps. Scrolling through the list, I saw (Navigate screen by using LGTV remote control). I was immediately plagued with questions. 1. Why is there and LGTV remote control installed on my Samsung Galaxy s22 ultra? 2. Where exactly is this remote control located on my phone? 3. I see there's an option to switch it on, can it be deleted off my phone? And 4. Why even have an LGTV remote control, rather than a Samsung remote control?

Can anyone answer these four questions?

Accessibility > Installed Apps, Should be User Installed Apps. So you or someone else most likely installed the LG App.

I have one lg app on my phone but it's for the washer and dryer. Could it be that app then?

Almost certainly.

Samsung isn't going to be installing LG apps.

All of the apps that I have in Accessibility are apps that I have installed myself.

Hi, please check that you might have installed the app in apps section.
If you don't want the app, go to Settings >> Apps >> and uninstall it.

They installed it for their LG washer & dryer 😉
