I had to install an app to free up memory, junk file and TSR apps.
Does anyone know how much memory the OS takes?

I know phone comes with 3 GB, but almost every hour or less I have to have app clean up junk.

Continually 75+% is used up.

It would be nice to know which of the OS or basic Samsung files can be forced closed so when on line apps like social media or chat, it slow down to a crawl.

Respectfuly yours ,

32 Gig version has about 23 Gig free for the user - Google is your friend 😉 🐧

Your "cleaner" App is causing you more harm than anything. Its normal that RAM usage is high. The system takes about 1.5GB of RAM on 3GB devices.

Use Device Manager in Settings>Device Manager>RAM and see for yourself

Thanks, probably memory heavy. Just took off ones that seem to serve unnecessarily.

note as well that memory usage is normal, and even 90% usage is fine. android will manage memory effectively
