I had to install an app to free up memory, junk file and TSR apps.
Does anyone know how much memory the OS takes?
I know phone comes with 3 GB, but almost every hour or less I have to have app clean up junk.
Continually 75+% is used up.
It would be nice to know which of the OS or basic Samsung files can be forced closed so when on line apps like social media or chat, it slow down to a crawl.
Respectfuly yours ,

Thank you, my new McAfee virus scanner is always in background.
Good to know about amount needed.
App has a flag on all main windows, when it is green, no problem. When it turns orange around 80% I hit it and dumps junk.
I check status, often .85 to 1.1 GB available.

i think it's ridiculous to put apps on our phones we don't want or need and then void our warranty when we root to improve performance.
