Galaxy SMy carrier, FIZZ, now has VoLTE and they tell me my S10e has been provisioned on their end, I just need to toggle VoLTE on. The toggle does not exist on my phone. Samsung chat hasn't been able to help me with a solution. Has anyone else encountered this issue and do you have a solution.
My phone is running Android 12, One UI 4.1 and there are no software updates available. I have restarted the phone, reset network settings, tried everything I can. My Mobile Voice Network type is LTE and the phone is Registered under IMS Registration Status. When I make a call the voice network type drops down to UMTS.
Any suggestions? I need VoLTE for an upcoming trip to USA. I need to get this fixed but Samsung seems unable to help. Model number is SM-G970W
As an experiment I installed a SIM I used on a previous European trip and rebooted the phone. The VoLTE setting appeared and it was activated. I then reinstalled my FIZZ SIM card and rebooted and while the VoLTE toggle is now missing an app named Volte Check tells me my phone is VoLTE provisioned. I made some calls and they were on the LTE network. Unfortunately after rebooting the phone again everything reverted to what it had been previously and my calls are now on the 3G network. I did it all again, booting with the European SIM card (Orange Belgium), shutting down, inserting the FIZZ SIM card and rebooting. I again have VoLTE provisioned and active but no VoLTE toggle. I am afraid that I will lose VoLTE as soon as I have to reboot my phone again. Something with the SIM card is likely the problem but it is a new SIM card from FIZZ, activated for LTE voice.
Does anyone have a solution or suggestions. I need to ensure VoLTE is active for the USA trip coming up. I can't be without phone service for the period of time I will be away.

Galaxy SI believe that the Canadian Carriers just removed the VoLTE Toggle from the QS Tiles, but if your Carrier, FIZZ supports VoLTE, you should still see it in Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks as seen in the screen shot.
I don't know if it's still possible, but you used to be able to add the VoLTE Toggle to the QS Tiles with adb. I just haven't bothered to try it on my current device.
Maybe if FIZZ is telling you that they now support VoLTE, you might need to get a SIM that does as well...

Galaxy SUnfortunately I do t know what QS tiles and adb are. I have tried to use Samsung Band Selector app but apparently it no longer works after recent Android updates. My phone has the last available update for the S10e which is Android 12, One UI 4.1
Thanks for your reply. I'm willing to try suggestions if you have more specific instructions.

Galaxy SYou would need to download Platform-Tools and Samsung's USB drivers to your computer.
Open Platform-Tools & Power Shell
Type "adb devices" to verify that your device is "seen" by power shell.
The adb command line is:
settings put secure sysui_qs_tiles "$(settings get secure sysui_qs_tiles),VoLTE
It may not work if the QS Tile has been disabled by the Canadian Carriers.

Galaxy SCheck if it's set on FIZ.
Watch out if you change your CSC, your phone may get wiped...
