Galaxy SHi, Please try using RCS as suggested by Habsfan. RCS (Rich Communication Service) messaging is a new type of messaging service that is more advanced than regular SMS and MMS. If you want to use RCS messages, you can download the Android Messaging app. To download the app, navigate to the Play Store, and then search for and select Android Messaging. Tap Install. Then, navigate to Settings and tap Apps. Search for and select the Android Messaging app, and then tap Set as default. Note: Chat features will work only if others use the Android Messaging app with certain network providers. Thanks for the response, Habsfan.

Galaxy SHi, MMS is a carrier feature and most carriers have an incredibly strict limit on the size of files that can be sent. If an image or video is too large, it is compressed automatically.
