Galaxy SSolution keep in a cool place or use cool air rom A/C for a minute let sit for 30 seconds should resolve if you try to charge.
No not a virus. Just detection of humidity.

Galaxy SThen go into Settings, then scroll to Accounts & Backup:
There, you can choose Samsung or your Google account.
Run the full backup of your choice first!
Confirm it's backed up before doing a full rest.
That way once you've signed back in with that account then restore.
(Ideally you'll want to backup to an external drive but your port isn't working, so you're out of luck for using that method for now)

Galaxy SHi, if your phone is receiving an error that says moisture has been detected but your phone has not been exposed to water, there are a few explanations.
- It is possible that there is a software error or bug. A security patch may solve the problem. Try checking your phone for the latest software.
- If you live in a humid environment, it is possible that there is moisture buildup inside the charging port. Shake your phone to remove any excess water, and then let it sit for 1 to 2 hours, so the water can naturally evaporate. If the error message does not go away, try very carefully to clean the charging port with a dry Q-tip.
- If you need to charge your phone right away, use a wireless charger. Wireless charging is not affected by moisture or foreign materials in the charging port. If your device supports wireless charging, you can try charging it that way. Make sure to thoroughly dry the device before placing it on the wireless charger.
If the popup does not go away, your phone will require service.

To reset the device, you can try the steps provided by Day_Walker.
Thank you Day_Walker.

Galaxy STRY THIS:
Use your sim card opening tool, and scrape out the inside of the port. You may be surprised of how much debris is actually in it! After getting a ton of debris and hair out of mine, it has worked ever since (over 1 year). NOTE: Scrape with caution not to harm any important parts of the port!
Please try this! Let me know if this works!
