My device: Galaxy S9+ 64GB (SM-G965W)

When the user enters in download mode by simultaneously holding the power button + volume down + bixby, the page shows me RPMB fuse blown.

Does anyone know what is that fuse and what it does and how to replace it ?

Thanks a lot ! 🙂

That's normal. Every recent Samsung shows that. Can't replace it.

Though it's purpose seems unknown. Maybe it means the device has been used (not brand-new) and the warranty has begun?

Ah no, seems RPMB stands for Replay Protected Memory Block. A secure space. Its key can only be rewritten once (Fuse blown)

Hey @manoli337,

Like everyone else stated in this thread, the RPMB fuse error message is a common issue. Although this shouldn't affect the normal operation of your S9+, I'll report this issue to see if it can be fixed 😊

Cheers,
Sabrina
