I just updated my S7 with the new firmware update today. Since then, I am experiencing a lot of issues such as; phone is running slow, heating up and draining battery faster, my Wi-Fi is either unstable or disconnecting/reconnecting (took me numerous times just to post this!). I am finding uploading/downloading lagging, and multimedia files, such as videos, are not loading. I couldn't take part in an important webanaire meeting tonight because it kept disconnecting or lagging. When will this error be fixed?

A factory reset must be done after a big update

@samarabressette While you shouldn't have to reset after an update, I would recommend a factory reset after the Nougat update as it's a pretty major update. Back up your data using Smart Switch for PC (http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/smartswitch/) and perform a factory reset (Settings > Backup and reset > Factory data reset).

If you have any issues with battery draining or excessive heat when regularly using the device, please contact support: www.samsung.com/ca/info/contactus/

Thanks, Nick
