Not sure what's wrong but I haven't been receiving notification emails on s25+ although the allow notifications feature is turned on for the Gmail app. Gmail is synced, cleared cache, Gmail isn't in deep sleeping mode. Do not disturb mode is off, Notifications are set to "all" in the Gmail app itself. I didn't have this problem on my a15 and this is my first flagship. What is going on? Anyone having this problem? What should I do? Have reported the problem to the members app but received an Al response prompting me to troubleshoot what I've already done. If this problem. To be clear, I do receive emails and see them when I open the Gmail app but I do not receive notifications on my notification panel. This is actually frustrating

I had the same problem at the beginning. I tried a couple of things, and it didn't work. Then, I disabled all Gmail notifications, restarted the phone, and re-enabled them, and it started to work. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but you can try.

Go to Gmail app > settings >press on your email account >Notifications - chose - All (sometimes there turned - high priority only).
After that go to the application in samsung settings, find Gmail and allow notifications , add notifications permission too .
Obviously, just 1st step should fix problem.

I tried all of these things and nothing worked.  What did work, though, was turning off "Manage app if unused."  As soon as I did that, notifications started popping up.
