Not receiving the 6.1.1 update on S23 Ultra Canada

Hello,

I have an S23 Ultra, im on v6.1

Reading the forums it seems that mostly all countries are having the 6.1.1 update.

Whats wrong in my case ?

The release of One UI V6.1.1 was stopped due to an issue with the Camera. The issue has subsequently been fixed. 

I'm not sure why we are still waiting for the One UI V6.1.1 update in Canada. 

Personally, I would much rather get the Security Patch OTA, and wait for One UI V7.0, Which has also been delayed.. Google has also delayed it's own Android 15 update to it's Pixel devices.. Samsung uses a modified version of Google's software for Samsung's One UI firmware.. So that isn't Samsung's fault.

So, i understood that S23 Ultra phones that didn't receive the 6.1.1 update, should wait until they get the One UI V7.0
That's all. 

It's just not fun to see a lot of friends that have the same phone as mine or even older having the v6.1.1 features while mine is stuck at the 6.1 July Update.

I think that the Canadian S23 series WILL get One UI V6.1.1... but I PERSONALLY would rather not receive One UI V6.1.1, and just wait for One UI V7.0.

Samsung has removed some features from One UI V6.1.1, that are currently in One UI V6.1.... which are supposed to return with One UI V7.0. 

That's not to say that One UI V6.1.1 doesn't bring some new stuff, it does, but..

That would be fine if we were getting the security updates. No updates whatsoever since July is a bit much

I have the s23 ultra and nothing oct4 ..my son got it on his s24 ultra and a coworker got it today on his s21 ultra...what's going on??

Yo, why hasn't the S23 been updated to UI 6.1.1 yet? Samsung better give us a explanation regarding this matter..

I found a solution to samsung ignoring Canadian s23 ultra owners since July 2024. I just purchased a new Google Pixel. Wow, what a phone.
