I'm getting this problem and my screen has turned so hot while my battery is drained so much quicker than before I updated the software today. There're horizontal lines as well on white backgrounds. I had to use a headphone to make calls coz the screen is so hot.

Any one has the same problem? I've tweeted and DM-ed Samsung Mobile but yet to get any replies.

This is really frustrating as my once reliable Note 9 is now hurting my eyes and I can't even use WhatsApp properly as images look distorted.

Please help.

TQ in advance.

Try the following:

- Turn off your phone (Power down)
- Press and hold Volume up and Bixby key, then press and hold power key
- Release all keys once you see Android Logo.
- Use Volume up and down to navigate
- Choose Wipe Cache Partition
- Press Power key for OK
- Select Yes
- Lastly click Reboot System Now

Let your phone boot up and monitor your phone if problem still there or not.

Let us know if you have more questions.

Thanks a lot for your kind reply.

I've tried this and the problem persists. Is there other solution I can try?

Which problem persists? Heat or lines problem?

Both, plus the greenish tint is still there that I have to maintain display brightness setting to highest to be able to view colours more accurately (but the tint is still there).

Can you turn down screen brightness? If you turn screen brightness to max, battery will drain fast, screen also become hot.

If I turn down the screen brightness, the screen is rather dark. So I'll need to turn the brightness back up again for some views.

The greenish tint is still there though and gets worse with lower brightness.

Hi, Could you please share some pictures of the device screen so that we could understand the issue better and troubleshoot it. Normally, the device can get hot to the touch after running for a long time and/or when running more power-intensive applications.
