Notification not showing

Need some technical advice. I no longer get notification icons regarding text, email, or WhatsApp. On my lock screen. On Galaxy s22  ultra. I used to get an envelope icon or a WhatsApp icon, now no icons appear when messages received. Any advice?

Hi, please verify the app notifications settings are enabled, if they are denied then turn it on.

Navigate to the Settings >> Hit Notifications >> Choose the Drop Down Menu present at the top to feature all applications >> Look at the app you want to receive the notification if it’s disabled simply tap on the toggle present next to it.

This is what you mean. Yes it's been like this the entire time. Still not getting the icon on lock screen when I receive a message. But thank you for replying.

Hi, please uninstall and re-install the whatsapp only and then check the notifications on lock screen.
