Latest update completely broke Bluetooth connection to my car, very occasionally auto connects but always connects "calls" but never audio, I have to manually toggle it on and off every time to make it work, this was not an issue with the previous version. Quite disappointed with having to deal with this.

This has been an issue since the very first beta and seems to be a glitch built-in to Android 16 itself because pixel users have been same problem.

I've had this exact issue for months but despite reporting it in every single version of the beta, Samsung has yet to fix it.

Hopefully its something that gets fixed/patched soon, Bluetooth functionality should never have been tampered with from the start. Fingers crossed for OneUI 8.5🙏

Same boat, spent wayyyy too long trying to connect.  The Bluetooth app refused to let me clear cache to delete old devices too.

  • Having the same exact issue with s25+ and 2015 vehicle. Tried all - unpairing, forgetting, reconnecting- advice and still having the issue.

Same problem here. 2010 Acura TL. Called Samsung support and tried all their suggested remedies such as reset, unpair, reboot, remove phone etc. Nothing worked. Connection was perfect before Android 16 update. Samsung support basically told me to buy a new car. Funny thing is I switched to my old Oneplus phone running Android 13 and everything is working with my BT connection.

Having same issue with Triton MQ 2016 non android auto version. Phone call side connects but music wont work automatically. I have to spam music toggle until it connects. Never had issues on previous model.

Same issue, with Samsung S25 Ultra and 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander. No issue with the 2017 Volvo though.

Add me to the list. S25 Ultra and 2010 Mazdaspeed3. Calls connected occasionally, audio never, and after unpairing my phone it won't pair again. Good times.

Exactly same issue as you guys, driving mitsubishi ASX 2017, no android auto just Bluetooth connection for playing media and calls. After update media wouldn't play or even connect.

Resolved by repairing my s24 ultra to the vehicle, then going in to Bluetooth paired device settings (cog to right of paired name). Change audio device type from other to speaker.

Works as before update

Let me know if it works for you and what vehicle you got
