So it is now OneU1 6.1 and instead of fixing the GLARING security problem of Samsung keeping your passwords in the Clipboard history, they made it worse.

I use to run a Macrodroid macro, and all it did was fill the clipboard with gibberish every hour automatically. It floo the clipboard with 25 entries of gibberish and that pushe out anything that was saved there.

Now on OneUl6.1, it seems like the Samsung clipboard a flexible max entries. I can't seem to find the maximum number of entries that clipboard manager can save. I'm to 60 now on Macrodroid and the process of adding moll tedious so I don't want to continue if it turns out there is t max.

It seems no matter how many items I flood into Clipboard manager, the recent passwords are still saved. Does anyone have any info on this? It would be very much appreciated!

Hi, we certainly understand your disappointment on this. We kindly request you to send us an error report using Samsung members application.

Open the Samsung Members app, and then tap the + key at the bottom right > Tap Error reports > A message will populate for you to choose Always to send the system log data or Just this time. We recommend being connected to Wi-Fi network depending on your mobile network plan > You will be able to choose from Category on what issue your device might be experiencing among the list > Please enter issue details or attach a video or screenshot to make easier to understand. Then press Send icons to complete report.

Meanwhile, we will also forward this issue to our appropriate team.

Thank you.

For anyone looking for a temporary workaround (temporary since Android 13):

Use Macrodroid and setup an automated macro to flood your clipboard. Screenshot below.

Best to setup two of these offset by 1 minute. For some reason this is the only way to flood out everything from Clipboard. Doing a single instance doesn't work for me as the clipboard just increases the max item to accomodate for any # of successive entries.1712176771654.jpg

Access the Clipboard & go to it's Settings & Toggle Off "Remember Copied Items"

Or change whatever else you want to change.

I use Samsung Pass, but it sounds like you're using Google Autofill?

Thank you for this tip!

But sorry I can't seem to find that toggle. If you can point me in the right direction, that would be really appreciated!

I checked:
1) Settings > General management > Keyboard list and default > Default keyboard >**Samsung Keyboard**.
2) I tried Accessing the Clipboard, but there is no settings I can tap into.

I have attached a screenshot of the Keyboard settings when I tap the "gear icon" ⚙️ in the Samsung Keyboard.1712179484780.jpg

I am using SwiftKey keyboard, but you should see a Clipboard Icon on the Samsung Keyboard as well.

Clicking on the Clipboard Icon should open up it's Settings.

And then give you the options in my previous post.

Okay so I am using the Samsung Keyboard now.

I clicked the Clipboard icon and all I see are the Clipboard items. I don't see a settings icon in Clipboard.

And if I click the settings icon on the regular keyboard screen it goes to the settings page I posted earlier

And I just want to say thanks for taking the time to help!1712180660213.jpg1712180660243.jpg
