Ordered 2:15PM on launch day. Item still stuck in preparing dispatch / awaiting dispatch

I ordered a green 512GB s23u at 215-220PM on launch day. Item still stuck in preparing dispatch. (https://imgur.com/PxpPkmy)

For the past 3 days I have been continually told "its about to be sent out.. ", "Its in packing preparation", "I contacted the shipping team",etc

Am I being lied to? People are laughing at me telling me I should never believe the support team.

I'm just about ready to cancel my order and forget about this phone entirely. I forgot about the pre-order hell I went through for my last samsung phone and thought this would be different.

Edit: To clarify, item went into awaiting dispatch on the 7th

Expected launch is feb 17. So expect your phone around that time. Thats whats pre-ordering means. So be patient a little. You can get it before feb 17 but most probably dispatch would be around that time.

Have you missed all the other messages about Canadians getting their phones as of the 8th which was the promised ship date?

I know,I just gave you a general statement. How usually preorders work. Some people can get it early but the launch date they said was feb 17. So thats what i said.

Actually most devices it said start shipping Feb 8th so you're wrong @virparam01

As for the other member that s u c k s! I ordered my s23U green 512gb during unpacked and got it yesterday.

It is in preparing dispatch so I hope it will come soon. Can I ask when did your order go into preparing dispatch? I just want to try to calibrate for how long it would take.

You won't like my answer lol, It went to prepaing to dispatch the next day (after the event) and then shipped out the 8th and got it the 9th

I really hope they sort out you issue soon! I'd maybe cancel and re order and see if that bumps you, as I've seen on reddit and such people just ordering are getting the preparing for dispatch or on the way

I am already in preparing for dispatch (I went into that state on 2/7). So I'm just curious the lead time between preparing for dispatch and shipping..

I ordered the same phone on the 2nd and received it early morning on the 9th . I don't know if its location based on who gets them first but you're not the only one waiting. I know it could be fustrating but i would wait a little longer if i were you.

Thats a thoughtful reply, thanks. I'm just really frustrated. If this is going to drag for a month I will just cancel my pre-order as I can walk into a samsung store and buy it directly (or just buy a different phone for that matter)
