Paste suggestion in Google Messages

Does anyone know of a way to disable this paste suggestion from popping up and hiding the toolbar? [S25]

Settings->Preferences. Turn off suggestions. Or if you want them on go into Settings->Corrections and suggestions to see if there's an option too disable there

I use SwiftKey Keyboard, and never see this.

I like the samsung keyboard, so I typically avoid external keyboards, GBoard being an exception

I'm using the Google keyboard. If you're not, then that would explain why my suggestion wouldn't make sense.
