i have a galaxy s7 edge and i really like the simplicity of the samsung keyboard. i am not changing it no matter what. BUT, am issue i see is my personal dictionary... i have none! i dont want a third party app either because they're all ugly and the appearance would really bother me.. if anyone has a fix that would be great!

So I did a little experimenting. If you type for say a nickname into the keyboard like "Brando", it immediately changes it to "Brandi". If you look on the top left part of the keyboard where it suggests what word your trying to spell you can say you meant "Brando". Then when you go to type something similar to Brando like Brandp it will correct it to Brando.

u replying to me? I don't see any personal dictionary in the keyboard settings so I guess this is a work around.

I just thought that its always changed bad spellings and if like certain words like Nick names or slang that one you type it in and make it stat in that it goes straight into your dictionary..
Maybe I am wrong Brando but mine works like that always has.....

i don't use auto correct tho, why would they get rid of this feature? i downloaded an app called texpand and it does pretty much what im asking but it has a bit of lag and sometimes further complicates my typing so it defeats the purpose really
