How do you stop phone from calling itself when it connects to car bluetooth

or you should try empty the cache of the phone application

do you think it is android auto? if so I will just delete it. android auto is not worth a dam anyway.

As mentioned by @Cassidy, Please try to clear the cache of your phone application and get back to us with the result.

Below are the steps to clear the cache of any app:

Open Settings >> Apps >> Select the app you want to clear >> Tap on Storage >> Then tap on Clear cache.

Same, here my S23 Ultra is doing the same thing, when its connecting to the bluetooth it will randomly starts a call.

as a follow up I cleared the cache of several apps the phone did not call itself when connecting to bluetooth today. will see if it does tomorrow. thank you

I realize this is an old thread, but my recent experience tends to make me think it's not Android Auto (AA) but the Bluetooth app.

I have a similar issue with my Bluetooth trying to connect to my new TV. Also, I have the same thing happen with my Samsung watch.

It's not consistent, so there may be other issues but both of these would indicate that AA is not the problem.
