So as per my previous post, my current phone has screen burn. As I am contemplating getting another phone, I was looking for some input as to your personal recommendation on phone options. Is it absolutely necessary to get the newest phone, or are there phones you are currently using that you would recommend first?

Depends really on what your needs are. If the price of the new phones are an issue and/or you aren't enticed by any of the new features, then Samsung's Galaxy S10 series is still a fantastic reccomendation from me. Since I assume you're coming from the smaller Galaxy S9 (as per your previous post), I'd reccomend the Galaxy S10 (regular). It'll provide a generally better experience and feel like an upgrade in most categories, but be aware that it is fundamentally not much different in the experience from the Galaxy S9.
Again, financial freedom plays a large influence in your purchasing. Since I like technology, I usually don't mind spending a little extra for the newest, especially when I have the options/situation to do so. But if you're struggling in finances or are not enamoured by the high prices, even if you're capable of paying them, then either the Galaxy S10 series or even Galaxy A70 is a solid alternative.
can there be an update or a fix for the screen burn? I have a samsung s9 plus have had it for a little over a year and notice some annoying screen burn can it he fixed?? is there any kind if warranty I have notice this is a big problem with these kind of screens , spending this much money for a phone that does this with this much technology out there seems crazy
