Photo Ambient Wallpaper turns off on S24 Ultra

I have set up Photo Ambient Wallpaper on my S24 ultra. This is the feature where you see weather animations on the lock screen on a wallpaper that you choose. 

I have been running into an issue where it turns itself off every couple of days. The lock screen wallpaper defaults to the one that comes out of the box and the weather animation is gone. 

Is there a setting that I accidentally toggled to do this? A google search has been unsuccessful for me.

I don't have that on my S23 Ultra One UI V6.1, but check in Settings > Apps & if it's called "ambient wallpaper", select it and scroll down to "Battery" and make sure that it is not "Optimized", set it to "Unrestricted".

It sounds like it might be getting Optimized, which would explain why it is turning off.

This was a good suggestion. While not an app, I did see that "adaptive battery" was turned on. Maybe this feature was being turned off as an optimization measure.

Adaptive Battery settings MIGHT be responsible, you could also go to Settings & Search for "Sleeping".

Check what is in Both "Sleeping" and "Deep Sleeping". Look for anything that sounds like it might be related to Ambient Wallpaper.

The system may turn off dynamic features to conserve battery. Check if battery optimization is affecting your wallpaper app.

Go to Settings > Apps > tap the three-dot menu > Special access > Optimize battery usage, and ensure your wallpaper app is not optimized.

If the problem persists, try reapplying the wallpaper and monitoring if any particular app or action is triggering the reset.
