Galaxy SAndroid System Webview isn't installed on my 8s+ device. Same issues are happening on my device, my WORK device, making it unusable. Advice please?

Galaxy SGoogle put out an update for Google Chrome and Android System WebView. Go to Play Store to update. Fixed all my problems

Galaxy SHave Samsung Note 8 and both hubby and I see the Android System Webview is disabled. There is no way to enable it on the phone or through the play store. It simply shows it's installed on my phone but I can't do anything about it. Would love to find out how to fix this BS!

Galaxy SFrom what I was told, if you use Google Chrome, you don't need Webview. Alternatively if you don't use Chrome, Webview needs to be updated. That is why on my phone Webview was disabled. Once I went to Play Store to update Chrome, everything on my phone started working correctly.

Galaxy SUninstalling Chrome updates worked for me, especially since I did not have that option for the Androud System Webview.
