Edit: After resetting completely the stock camera app (and wiping the cache partition, just in case), the photos look extremely good. Really happy with my S23 Ultra.

What do you think? I'm not a fan of Google (at all), but I do wonder why the GCam I've downloaded seems to struggle less in many situations... with the same camera.

I am a bit surprised that the stock Samsung Camera is not better than Gcam.

I know that when I was running Custom Roms, most people always thought the Samsung Camera was superior to Gcam.

Maybe try opening the Camera & going to it's Settings & Reset the Camera's settings & Reboot. See if that helps?

A little surprising (to me anyway) Stock is about twice the size of Expert RAW & about 5 Meg larger than G-Cam.

Looks like stock cam app is overexposed a little bit and less saturation.

I'll definitely do that! The photos you've posted are totally different from the ones I get. It's night and day.
I must say that the stock camera does produce better results in most situations, especially in low-light or normal light conditions.

Now, about GCam... On one hand, I wasn't a fan of the results I was getting with my s22U either when there was grass on the picture. The pro mode looked very good if the dynamic range wasn't too wide.
On the other hand, I find this version of GCam surprising (I eould never have considered using GCam in the past).

Let's see if resetting the camera and rebooting helps. 🤞

The photo taken with Samsung's Camera didn't have any tweaks, I didn't touch anything. No Pro Mode, No HEIF.

Same with G-Cam & Expert RAW, I took the photos with the "out of the box" Settings.

Ok!!! So I'm walking, I haven't found grass to make another test, but the pictures from the stock camera aren't overexposed at all! That's a good sign. I think it worked, but I'll tell you later if the problem has been truly fixed! Thank you again!

I'll give a generous tip 😂

For now, the stock camera app produces crystal clean pictures, while the JPEGs from Expert Raw are oversaturated (but with the RAW file, it isn't an issue!)
