there is some stuff online about it but I guess it's brand new. I did a security scan and it didn't find anything on my phone.

Hey @Shaunuck, if you get this pop-up from inside your stock Messaging application, it's safe! Some Canadian carriers are rolling out RCS (Rich Communications Services) to improve features for text messaging and you will see this notification from your messaging app.

For anyone else who sees a similar notification, you can always verify with your mobile service provider (e.g. Bell, Telus, Rogers etc.) to verify if they're implmenting RCS! -Nick
