Anybody having a problem with third-party apps like Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook messenger, and VSCO (so far that I tried) where the front camera is cropped and zoom in? My face is not even center on the camera either and I have to tilt my phone to make it so. When I'm holding the phone in front of me, my face on the camera screen is on the left side of my phone. I've forced stop, clean app cache, uninstall/reinstall the apps, restarted my phone, even wiped cache partition, and not even any of the security updates and optimizations has fixed this. I have no issues with the native Samsung camera and snapchat app though.

Hi JDJC08, Unlike using preloaded camera application, when shooting a front or rear camera with a 3rd party camera applications, the angle of view may be narrow or the camera may not be able to capture a wide scene.
When capturing on Galaxy S10 series with the preloaded camera app, two angle of view on the front camera and three angle of view on rear camera are supported. This operation is not device faulty and if you want to adjust the angle of view on front or rear camera, please use Samsung’s camera application.

So the problem is with the third-party apps and not my phone?

Hi JDJC08,

Yes, this is not the device fault.

why wasn't this an issue with 3rd party apps previously. im having the same issue. it doesnt make sense that it's 3rd party related or more people would have the issue.

evidently...im having the same issue. I fixed it for like 2 mins once by clearing the camera cache in the settings but then it went back to being zoomed in after I closed Instagram and opened it again

this was literally me too for all the apps I mentioned then it went back to being zoomed in, it's annoying and just ridiculous that it hasn't been fixed
