Hi There, about 8 months ago I got a message that popped up on my dash saying "unfortunately, com.clarion.bluetooth has stopped", on my Honda 2017 ridgeline. Every since, texts either flashing up on the screen like normal, but when you hit read, it says you have to pull over to look at the message. Normally, it reads the message and allows you to respond. The other thing it does is just a quick flash on the screen and its gone. you just get a little envelop at the top of the screen to say somethings there. Sometimes not even that. The dealer said they reset it and works for them but for me no luck. Their other solution is to have your phone plugged in all the time and use android auto. I don't want to have to do that. it worked fine for 5 years why now this issue. I just did some more testing and used my old Samsung S7 and it works?? Why is the S10 not working? I've gone over all my settings and can't find anything different. I've reset the system in the truck multiple times as well as on the phone. I unpaired and repaired the bluetooth. I beleive its something to do with the truck bluetooth, but the dealer says no it my phone. Wondering if someone else has had this issue or knows of a fix? I still think its related to the message that started this whole mess, but not sure.
Hi There, I actually went in and cleared the Cache partition in the phone. also deleted the truck out of my phone and vice versa. rebooted the Bluetooth on the truck and still no luck. they say it's my phone but, it was working fine up until I got the above error on the trucks radio screen. really frustrating. thanks for your help and info.
