Trying to use Dolby Atmos though wired headphones, but it looks like it doesn't have any effects on the headphones sound.

Using Spotify, a USB C to AUX cable, and Skull Candy headsets.

Any way to trouble shoot this, or are their USB C to AUX adapter that work better? Sound quality seems worse than my previous S8+ which used the same headphone, but directly plugged into the Aux port.

USB-C audio is of bad quality. You need a high quality DAC to compensate. What USB-C to 3.5mm cable are you using?

Ouch. That won't cut it. Try the official Samsung active audio adapter. There's a reason it's more expensive. But it will still sound somewhat worse than a real 3.5mm jack.

Ugh, wish they Samsung hadn't removed the headphones jack. Thanks for your help

Hey@ez1to3,
Please make sure that you are using Samsung original accessories to get better device experience. Samsung always recommends to use the original accessories.
You can purchase the USB-C to 3.5 mm audio Aux adapter from the below link.
Thanks @CHMultimedia for your information.

i wouldn't take anything Amazon recommends. i bought 2 different brands of usb c audio adapters. both were not compatible with my note 10 plus. long story short i should have just asked ChMultimedia first. i will only buy Samsung brands going forward.
