so obvs not to give away passwords, normally where the keylock is above keyboard, if i go to sign into any app that need pass/user... itd list a few of my usernames or email in predictive text but password is still **************** for example.

this wasnt the case before..what setting do i change to remove it but to keep predictive text dictionary?

my old s20 got runover. i transfered everything to new s20. but ya now this is an odd issue 😕

help please

I am thinking the key icon is it Samsung Pass? I don't remember any username and password on my phone, so not too sure.

I thought so but I didn't have it installed.
I went to chrome:// something and disabled a few autofilk features that were experimental and thats fixed it a bit. Its weird because my old s20 had nothing like that even tho I used pass. Transfer and pass didn't work but I have this anomaly lol

That's is exactly why i don't use predictive text, they display sensitive info that i had typed, or had it in clipboard. Scary. I just use check spell, while typing. It's convenient, and doesn't make you completely dumb and rely on a machine for spellings. Gotta exercise our brain too, you know. 😋

Wooohooo, nice. Where do you remove the plugins? From Google Chrome app? Which plugin? Thanks!

Hi FTI4,
Good to know that your problem got resolved after removing the plugins from the chrome app.
Please provide the path that where do you remove the plugin and which plugin as mentioned by Tallman. It will be helpful for other members with the same query.

no problem. Last chrome update on mobile added a lot of "experimental add-ons" including this dumb idea of passwords in predictable text. Hopefully they remove it completely next update.
cheers Tallman!
