On my galaxy s21+ the lock button will sometimes register a single click as a double click. For instance when I go to lock my phone it will turn black and then go to the lock screen instantly or when I want to turn on the screen it will go to the lock screen and instantly turn back to black. I can't seem to reproduce the problem but it feels as if it has to do with where I press on the lock button (top/middle/bottom) The hardware test on the app shows normal function.

Hi, please verify your device in safe mode to diagnose the issue exactly if the third-party apps cause the issue or the device. Safe mode to check if added apps are causing problems. This mode only loads basic system software and allows you to disable third-party applications.

1. After turning off the device, turn it on.

2. Once the Samsung logo has started, press and hold the volume down button.

3. When the home screen appears, the safe mode is displayed in the lower-left corner of the screen.

How to deactivate safe mode.

1. Press and hold the power. Get back to us if the issue is still persisting in safe mode.

Did you inspect the area around the button to make sure that there's no debris, ie: lint etc?

Nothing I can spot even under a flashlight. I tried using compressed air to clean out the area and no luck. I'm scared to use alcohol because I don't know how that'll react with the seal/glue etc.
