S21 syncing failure

Suddenly my syncing via Smart Switch has stopped working.  I have previously synced my S21 to Outlook on my PC successfully for a year.  I hit Sync Now  and it goes through the change history etc., and it takes about the same amount of time.  However, before it finishes it simply exits, without the normal message "Sync Complete" and the ability to hit Confirm.  No changes are seen in either my Outlook or phone calendar.  Something has changed. I have recently uploaded the new phone software.  I backed up the phone just before this.  Is it something to do with the Syncing log?  That seems to have disappeared.  Also, beside "last sync'ed" it says No Syncing Log.

No. Smart Switch still does not sync after the update last week, and I'm not the only one to have this serious problem.

No, they have no answer yet. I think Smart Switch needs an update to correct whatever problem the last update caused. Like others, my calendar function is not there and it really affects my day to day scheduling. Many others have this same problem.

I spent about four hours on text chat with Samsung yesterday.  Deleted SS from phone and desktop, restarted both, reinstalled SS and same darn outcome.

When I had to restart the phone, of course I lost the connection to the text chat.  The second "helper" from Samsung sent me down the road of synching outlook to phone by using Outlook.com.  In other words no fix for SS, just do something completely different.  He then wanted me to use gmail to solve the syching problem.  When I finally convinced him that I wanted SS to work like it used to, his response was similar to what someone else posted in this chat string:

"Again sir, I do apologize for the inconvenient it caused you sir. For now the alternative solution is the only way to transfer your calendar as the smart switch needs to be updated to fix the bugs or glitches."

So in other words we (Samsung) won't fix this problem.  You (customer) are left to hope that this is fixed with the next update.  How can you screw up a program that was working so effectively and so easily?  I have to get a new phone and this has given me serious doubts about Samsung.  Apple uses I-tunes for backup.  While it is clunky - it does work and didn't just stop one day with a software update.

Same issue with me, very frustrating. I only found out you have the same issue becasue I googled "no  syncing log" and was directed here. Please Samsung fix this ASAP. Happedned to me about 4 or 5 days ago approx - after the last smart switch update. Smart Switch just exits on the PC without finalising the sync. I also uninstalled and reinstalled everything on both android phone and the PC. Very frustrating

On my second time on the help line, they said they elevated the issue and expected to email me today or tomorrow.

While we wait for Samsung to fix the issue with a new update, does anyone know of a safe/legitimate place where we can download the previous version of SS from?
