s21 ultra shipping delay update

I made a post on Oct 13 about my delayed shipping for my s21 ultra 256gb. After exchanging a few messages with a moderator they advised me get in contact with the live chat team and request to have someone from the concerned team contact me.   I spoke to an agent who said they would send a follow up to the concerned team and i should be contacted within 48 hours. This never happened, so I followed up again with the live chat team. I got a very good agent who let me know that due to the high demand the phones needed to be manufactured. They will be expecting phones on Oct 23 and I should have my phone shipped out the following week. At this point I was ready to cancel my order but the agent assured me that the phones were coming and they would personally follow up. This gave me some hope and I decided to give Samsung one last chance at making this right.

It's now Thurs (oct 28) and no follow up from the agent and my order is still processing. I spoke to another agent requested to have an update whether my phone will ship this week. this person told me that it should be shipping in early Nov. I was not happy about this and asked for compensation (which Samsung does not provide) for the delay.  this agent advised they will take my concerns as feed back and escalate to the warehouse about shipping. while I was trying to see if I could get a more exact date the agent tries to up sell me on ear buds. Like **bleep** I'm trying to get details on my phone that's been delayed for so long and this person is trying to offer ear buds. Like why would I buy something else when they're having so many issues sending out my phone in the first place. this ticked me right off and i ended the conversation to allow myself some time to cool down. I spoke to another agent today (Oct 29) they advised me to wait until Nov 9 and the phone should ship out then. This left me speechless I go from potentially having my phone sent out this week to having to wait until Nov 9. The agent said they sent a follow up with the warehouse and the same old spiel that I've gotten from every other agent, I should be patient and that since I've waited so long anyways I should still continue to wait until Nov 9 and again no offer of compensation. I'm at a loss for words with Samsung right now. I get the whole pandemic and chip shortage but the fact that they offer little no information on when my phone will ship and the dates they give always pass and is pushed even further back really doesn't sit well me with. For a massive company like Samsung to treat customer like this and not offer any sort of compensation as a kind gesture shows how much they care about their customers. After all of this i have finally requested to have my order cancelled. 

I've been a long time Samsung customer I've owned the S4, S5, S7, S9+ a S7 tablet, watch active 2 ,classic watch 4  and Samsung TV. Over the years I've bought many Samsung products and are heavily invested in their eco system. After this experience I don't think I will be buying anymore Samsung products. I wish everyone else in the same boat as me the best of luck and hope you guys get your phones.

I guess if the phones are 'supposed' to be made on October 23, you have to take the time to package them, distribute them around the world, remember that Samsung devices are not made in Toronto but either in Korea. South or Vietnam for the Canadian versions. Then the time to ship them (probably by boat), which takes about at least 2 weeks and that it arrives at the port of Vancouver, that the boat is unloaded, the devices cleared, shipped to the various warehouses, etc. So yes, if you are lucky you will receive your device at the end of November beginning of December 2021.

I ordered my S21 on 25th Oct. it went to ‘Customising’ today. Email says allow 6 weeks for it to arrive

Made my order for an S21 ultra on september 2, 2021

It's November 15 now, and still no news and no change in he order status online.
