The screens should be identical. The part numbers may be different, but that's likely to be a function of how inventory is stored in the US vs Canada.

The antennas should also be identical, in case you were unaware, we can Flash the US Betas on our Canadian devices.

The ONLY possible variation, may be devices that were sold for Verizon, Sprint or US Cellular networks.. because they use / CDMA Networks, whereas pretty much the rest of the world uses GSM Networks.. But that aside, I'm still quite certain that the screens & antennas for the US models are fully compatible with the Canadian S22 Ultra.

As I said, the hardware is identical.

You might want to speak to someone else at Mobile Klinik or Ubreakifix... someone who has more knowledge than just reading a "how to" manual.

That's what I told my friend... On S20 let say you can put U1 firmware to unlock esim for example on most recent models the US firmware should enable mmWave in the US... North america uses same hardware and I think antennas have connectors so you can swap them.

The only reason to change the model is for canadian approvals and they will tweak thru the FW.

Unless they use different cpu maybe the screen connectors are in different location.

Both Canada & US use Qualcomm Snapdragon chips.

Maybe they think it has exynos. Which is available in some countries

Exynos variant is not sold in North America for any of Samsung's Flagship devices, since the Galaxy S8 series. If the technician at a repair shop does not know that.. run.
