I got a s22 ultra from best buy but it's a unlock ATT phone.
I can not update to android 13 of get any updates. I call samsung and they told me you can not get updates because it's a US phone that will not update in canada.
Does anyone know if this is true and I get different answer from samsung reps
I turn on automatic updates and also there is a red and blue arrows with exclamation on the software update button which seems like I'm block from updates I wonder if it's because I disabled all the ATT apps ? Please help anyone

Can you post a screen shot of the screen with the "!",, and a screen shot of what is in About Phone, Software Information?

You might have to Flash the One UI V5.0 Update manually using Odin, maybe Smart Switch may work?

Let me know if you need help.

Click on About Phone in your screen shot & then on the next screen, click on "Software Information" & post it.

Here is mine.

I did use smart switch from my old flip z to transfer.
What if and when the android 13 comes to z flip then I can do another smart switch to the s22 would that transfer android 13 from zflip to s22 ?

No, you can't transfer any OS from your Flip to your S22 Ultra.

Did you know when you purchased the device from Best Buy (Market Place I think), that it was a US device?

AT&T is probably the most problematic US Carrier, as I THINK that there's no such thing as an "Unlocked" AT&T branded device, but I could be wrong.

You could always ask at a UbreakIFix it repair shop, if they would Flash the One UI V5.0 Update for you, They SHOULD certainly know how to do it.

Might be KINDA true, but not entirely.

You can try going to Settings > Apps & Toggle On "Show System Apps" (Middle Right Menu) and Click on "OK" and Search for "Software Update", there should be two of these, click on each & Scroll down to "Storage" & Clear both Cache & Data for each of them.

Reboot and try to Download the Update again.
