Hi guys,

May I know if I set the performance in light mode instead of standard mode will reduce the battery drain?

Or is there another way to keep the battery last longer, perhaps any setting on developer mode?

I have turned on the power saving in my Galaxy S23 FE, yet it doesn't help at all. I never play any game in this device, neither do I turn the AOD on.

I did my own research as well, most of S23 FE users are facing the same issue, they said it is because of the software hasn't stable yet 🫠

Exynos 2200? Its an inefficient SoC. Power hungry. Try power saving mode 24 hours, wifi all time with 2G/3G network standby, deep sleep all unneccessary apps except for notification needed

Welcome to exynos 2200/ 8 gen 1 samsung foundry family. Due to inefficient SoC, sadly the poor yield SoC production leds to gaps between batch production, some people got luck, and some people dont. Software update dont help too much. If you not inconvenient. Just sell it for s23 or change to apple devices. See geekerwan in youtube for more detail about how inefficient that SoC compared to TSMC made. Youtube reviewer reviewer not doing in depth review for SoC except channel geekerwan or golden reviewers.

Yeah, some of reviewer said Exynos 2200 has the good score on AnTutu, I supposed to check another tech/ gadget reviewer 😔

Actually, the performance is smooth enough but it sacrifices the battery 🫠 will watch geekerwan later 👌

Yeah antutu score doesnt reflect how efficient the chip, so in exy 2200, high performance meaning high power consumption, max power to achieve high perfomance average in 11 watts even reach 14 watts at the top, the power equivalent with CPU desktop, lol.

Thanks for the suggestions @yantovernando! Lemme check the app settings -- perhaps I will turn off the notification in some of apps, hopefully it works

Turn off notifications are not the same with put apps in to deep sleep. See battery setting for set some apps to deep sleep. I am user s22 plus having some issue with u because 8 gen 1 and exy 2200 built in same fabrication, which is samsung foundry.
