We’re sorry to hear you’re encountering performance issues, battery drain, and screen brightness concerns after the One UI 7 update on your Galaxy S23 Ultra.
To help with the lag and battery drain, we recommend the following steps:
Clear system cache by entering Recovery Mode and selecting Wipe Cache Partition. This will clear temporary system files without deleting your personal data and can help fix lag or performance issues after updates.

Turn off your phone completely.

Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously.

When the Samsung logo appears, release both buttons.

The phone will enter Recovery Mode (a black screen with text menu).

Use the Volume Down button to navigate to “Wipe cache partition.”

Press the Power button to select it.

Confirm by selecting “Yes” using the Volume buttons to navigate and the Power button to confirm.

Once the process completes, select “Reboot system now” and press the Power button.
Please ensure all apps are updated from the Galaxy Store and Play Store.
Try Battery and device care > Diagnostics to check for any background issues.
If the issue persists, a factory data reset after backing up your data can sometimes resolve post-update performance degradation.
