S23 ultra screen flicker slow motion video

Curious as to why. Some videos have the flicker, some don't. I shot the same video under same conditions with the Samsung and a Google pixel 8 pro. No flicker on the pixel. 

Shot another slow motion video in a different room with the samsung, also bulbs for lighting, not natural. This time no flicker. 

Confused, any thoughts? 

Google tells me it's the lighting but the pixel didn't show any flicker under the sane conditions and same subjects doing the same thing.

It is normal, light bulbs flicker, you can't see it but cameras can pick it up.
Maybe the frame rate because the two phones shoot slow motion at different frame rates. Maybe that is the reason why samsung phone picks up the flicker and google pixel doesn't.

I see. So the samsung can probably detect the ghosts then? Lol

That is how artificial lights work, flicker. Most likely samsungs frame rate is closer to the light bulbs frequency.

It is best to shoot slow mo in natural lighting

Makes sense, thank you for explaining that. I was wondering if pixel has a better camera then, but I love my ultra more

I love samsungs camera system.

I wouldn't say one is better than the other. Just the fact that they shoot at different frame rate, and just so happens that samsungs frame rate is matching that of the lighting.

I would say apple, samsung and google are all good and it comes down to personal preference
