Galaxy SWith both my USB-C headsets and earbuds on the S24 Ultra, I discovered that the cause is unrelated to stereo or mono audio settings or hardware issues. Instead, it is simply an audio setup issue that can be easily resolved by adjusting the audio balance.
If this applies to you, simply follow these steps to rectify the issue:
1. Access the "Settings" menu on your device.
2. Proceed to the "Accessibility" section.
3. Locate the "Hearing enhancements" option and select it.
4. Within this menu, you will find the "Left/Right sound balance" setting.
By default, this setting is positioned in the middle. To achieve balanced audio, you will need to slightly adjust the slider to the right.
After making this adjustment, the audio output should be evenly distributed between the left and right earpieces, resolving the initial issue.
I hope this will be useful to you.

Galaxy S
I do see other audio issues with earbuds. Samsung should consider giving bug fix
