I just purchased an S24 ultra why is the phone still running android 14. And why is Samsung taking so long to roll the software update.

Google delayed Android 15 and Samsung builds their One UI skin on top of Google's OS.

Development of A.I. might be part of the reason for Samsung's delay. 

Last year, One UI V6.0 Stable (Android 14) was already available.

Are there features that you need in Android 15? If not, I would go on with my life as usual. I am on Android 12 and can use my phone just fine.
