S7 EDGE 3 grey lines in screen. Pls help

Recently, when i checked my phone, i noticed there were 3 strange grey lines (translucent).The three lines disappear when i put the phone on auto brightness with the brightness on full. I have never had any screen problems with this phone and i have not sat on it. Can somone please tell ne how resolve this issue or can i send my phone to samsung as it is not my fault. Thank you

Try a factory reset, if you saying the issue goes away when I'm auto brightness then it may just be a software issue. also you could try the samsung display test, google it and someone will guide you through getting to the menu.

i did a factory reset but it didnt seem to work. i will try the samsung display test. thank you

same here, been like.that since a couple updates and i bought my s7 edge private so I have no receipt and there for no warranty

cant you still call support and ask them to fix it for u because its not ur fault it's samsung's fault

Type in *#0*# in the phone dialer menu to bring up the diagnostic tests. You can use these tests to see if theres problems with the screen. I suspect that the problem lies with a damaged lcd which is a hardware defect and not a software one

i did every test and they all passed

When your doing the display test, do you still see the grey lines at differing brightnesses?
If you do then it appears to be a screen hardware problem, if not then it is a software problem

when the brightness is on max the screen is normal and when the phone is in the process of turning off the lines also disappear. When i do the display test, the lines show only because the brightness automaticaly gets higher. Thank you for your support
