S7 power key not working/power button stopped working

hey.

my s7 edge's power button stopped working and I googled this problem and it turns out I'm not the only one.

* I followed tips by other users pressing power and volume down to restart.

it does not work

* I backed up all my files and did a factory reset.

it did work for the first hour after reset but it appears again

* I noticed every time when I restart the phone, after "Samsung" appears , the lock screen. the key could work for couple of seconds.

I got it from bell, they told me to ship it to Ontario and it takes up to 3 weeks to fix it.

but since it is a software issue. why can't engineers or software developers at Samsung do a framework update or something?
