Samsung needs to push an update to fix this problem. it's been months before my wifi on my phone actually worked good. it keeps disconnecting from wifi so I have to use my phone company's data to use internet. Soon going to a different brand phone because Samsung isn't fast on bug fixes.

when mobile data is disabled smart switch is also disabled, I can have just wifi on. it disconnects and reconnects non stop. it's a bug with the system.

me too! just broke down and sent a feedback/support request the other day. I've tried every other solution suggested through hours of searching online...nothing works.

protocol? well they better get it fixed soon. why does it happen only on this device then? other people connected to the same wifi router, never disconnects

That can't be the issue. My wifi works fine and there has been no changes. There are 2 other Samsung phonrs in the same home and they both work fine. I notice my phone cycling the wifi connection just recently but judging by recent network consumption it's been happening for a while now. If a protocol issue all phones should be affected, not just mine.

This is getting really stupid. I have the galaxyS7.When I get home my Wi-Fi randomly turns off. All after the previous update. And to top it off three data warning does not work. I have it set to warn at 4GB. It doesn't do anything. I hange smart switch turned off. I'm lucky when it actually tells me when I'm out of data. Most of the time it is Bell texting me that I've used up 90% of my data with weeks left of my billing to go. That update mixed with the complete screw up of the dictionary now is really annoying. And it is costing me a lot of money

I'm gonna get another brand name phone I think. Samsung is failing it's customers.
