Hey all. I've recently invested in a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.
At first I was very happy with the phone. But now after the initial setup and I have discovered one huge issue. I am receiving text messages from people very late. Some I am not receiving at all. I am hoping someone here has an explanation and hopefully a solution to my problem!
Another thing that is somewhat related: I bought a Telus S8+ but I am with Freedom Mobile. Somehow without having the phone unlocked my Freedom SIM card works in the phone but my friend's Bell SIM does not. I found this strange. Could the laggy texts have something to do with this?

android authority actually blogged about it last week. I have also experienced it but regardless i wouldn't trade this device in for anything except maybe a note 8😉

Freedom man, they're the root of the problem I think. I'm also on Freedom network with my S8+. Call going to voicemail , messages arriving 15-20 mins late are some of the issues I'm facing. I'm up for ditching Freedom but not S8+ ever in all my life!

I thought at first that it was Freedom but my S7 was fine right before I switched to my S8+ and there are tons of people experiencing the same issue on different carriers. Samsung needs to fix this fast
