Hi All,

When I get back home, my S9+ automatically connected to home WIFI. Supposely, the LTE icon will be disappear.
But for some reason, the LTE is flashing (flicking) every 2 seconds. like On then disappear.

It will be resolved if i restart my phone, but it is pretty annoying.

Does anyone know how to resolve it?

Discussed multiple times, also occurs on S8. It happens when WIFI is weak or internet not available, it tries to switch to LTE. But disappears because Wifi starts to work again. You'll notice when LTE is flicking when connected to WiFi that there's no active internet connection on Wifi, you can't load any webpage or YouTube.

Hi, Thank you for replying. I googled it many forum as well.

Many said the same about the weak WIFI and LTE swtiching. But it is not my case.

I am actually having the strong WIFI connection (i even can do the speed test) but the LTE icon is still flicking.

I have also turn off the option to turn Network on when week WIFI in advance option.

And more over, the issue (flashing or flicking) is maintained until i restarted my phone.

Okay, that's interesting. From the screenshot, it doesn't seem like normal network handover that I thought. Follow these steps:
Turn off your data, turn off your wifi. Then enable Developer Settings.(you can google or ask me if you don't know how to enable it)
Then go to Developer Settings, under networking turn off 'Aggressive Wifi Handover' and 'Keep Mobile Data Turned On' options. After that restart your phone.
Then first turn on your mobile data, then connect to the wifi.
Let me know if the issue is solved.

You could also try to disable mobile data.
I think it might be because an app or the system needs to sync with the carrier network. Did you try enable/disable WiFi-Calling?

disable mobile data will work. Same if i disable the WIFI network too. But as most of the user, you don't want manually turn on and off the network.
WIFI calling is already disable.
