Sorry for my ignorance.
What exactly is the point of the shared album?
I mean, when you delete it's gone.
If they don't download, it could be lost.
You can't comment or sort (by sender)

Wouldn't it be better just to quick share so they have it locally on their phone before they forget to download?

I'm not sure I understand the purpose. If anything, if it was automatic uploaded when any of the members in the group take picture so others can download I can understand. This, you need to manually upload for others then they must manually download. What's the point?

the shared album lets you share photos with one or more people. You can modify this album as you wish, and it will be updated for the people with whom you share them. The people you share with can download all photos, or choose only those they want to have physically on their cell phone. You can also deny access to the people with whom you share this album. If you delete the shared album, you don't lose your photos - they stay in your main album. Only the people who had the shared album will no longer see them.

Hi ToddMan,

You’re absolutely right, if a photo is not downloaded before it's deleted, it can be lost. People might forget to download or think it's safe in the cloud forever. The content is often deleted based on the permissions of the album creator, which can lead to confusion or loss of data.

Thank you for sharing the required information Parseneault76.

It should have an auto share or auto upload function like back in the days. Kinda like music share but for album. For example, you go to wedding or birthday, those people to NFC tap with are link and creates an shared album and both gets the pic only for those moments. The other daily random pics are not shared unless you want to add manually
