Galaxy SI'm a regular user of the reminders app, and I really enjoy being able to specify a condition, like day and time, in the title and have it automatically set that condition in the reminder
However, I frequently run into the issue of having my first specified condition being overridden by certain keywords in my reminder. For example:
"Tomorrow 2pm message John about working on|"
-> "Tomorrow 2pm message John about working on Monday|"
-> "Tomorrow 2pm message John about working on Monday|"
As soon as I type the word 'Monday', this immediately overrides the 'Tomorrow 2pm' specification, and instead sets the reminder to trigger on Monday. If I tap on 'Monday', this removes the automatic condition, but it does not revert back to 'Tomorrow 2pm'. In fact, once you tap on a condition in the title to remove it, no subsequent conditions will be picked up in text, meaning you have to rewrite the reminder. This is particularly annoying for words like 'Christmas' that also override the time.
The only workaround I can find is to always put the time I want last, but also ensuring that there is at least one non-condition word between conditions (e.g. "Message John about Monday shift Tomorrow 2pm"). But this is rather mentally cumbersome to me.
Is there any way to prevent this behaviour whilst still keeping the functionality of having a condition automatically set from the title?
In my mind, it should really only pick up the first condition of a certain type, and then ignore all other subsequent keywords for that condition (e.g. time). I don't see the utility of always overriding it with the last keyword typed. Alternatively, tapping on a condition to remove it should revert to the last condition picked up in the title.

Galaxy SIf I understand what you're trying to do?
I just say "Hey Google, set a reminder.." Google asks me for what & then when.
Never had any issues.
You can also set Reminders / Tasks on your Samsung Watch.

Galaxy SHi Members_lUmXK08,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed experience with the reminders app. We appreciate your feedback and understand the frustration caused when automatic condition recognition overrides your initial specifications, particularly in cases where keywords such as “Monday” or “Christmas” unintentionally reset the reminder conditions.
At present, the app is designed to prioritize the most recent keyword entered, which is why the last condition typed overrides earlier ones. We recognize that this behavior may not align with your preferred workflow. Your suggestion—that the app should retain the first condition of a given type or revert to the previous condition when one is removed—is valuable and highlights an opportunity for improvement in usability.
While there is no current setting to prevent this behavior, we encourage you to continue using the workaround suggested by RedDogRabbit and check if it works for you.
We sincerely appreciate your input, as it helps us identify areas where the app can be enhanced to better serve users like yourself.
