I received photos and videos from a WhatsApp contact and I need to save them on my Samsung Galaxy S9 Gallery. How to proceed with that? Can I have tips please? Thanks.

The app should just save them automatically but if not just check your settings for the app

Thanks for your reply. I don't think the app is saving them automatically. Can you give me please the app configuration? Where to go and what to activate in the app? Thanks again.

Hi Jaypiti,

Open Whatsapp, Click 3 dots on the top right corner. Click Settings, Click Data and Storage usage

Make sure When connected on Wifi you have choose photo. Like my screenshot.

In the future when someone send you photo, it will store in Gallery Whatsapp folder.

For the past photo, maybe you have to download manually.

Hi! I tried to do what you told me and it's still not. I changed my WhatsApp settings and went to My Files - WhatsApp, and I'm still unable to find the pictures.

Can you check:
Settings-> Apps→ Whatsapp→ Permissions

check if you have grant permission to Storage?
