Twice now I've gotten texts about my online account with Scotia Bank needing fixing w.e ..too bad I'm not with Scotia Bank... When will they ever give up πŸ˜‚

I know everyone here is smart an wouldn't ever click a text supposedly from your bank because they wouldn't do that for that reason.. Just a lil heads up it's going around like the flu, few other people I know have gotten them already πŸ˜›a74744fe-c7ee-43ce-8ab5-b6c97542d8dc.jpg

I can relate to this post. I got a text and an email from Bank of Montreal with the exact same thing. I phoned their 1-800 customer service department to report this, they told me that this is obviously a scam and told me do not reply to it as this was reported by other customers and under investigation.

me too!!!! I got a message that said it was from telus. they said "In 2 days your balance will expire. Top up to keep your phone working: telus.com/myaccount or call #123. Free TELUS message. Opt out: reply stop or bit.ly/1qwIZxf"

but it wasn't true cuz I clicked on it and it was clearly fake. DON'T click on it or enter your phone number I blocked it already

telus usually does send a text saying your phone minutes are about to expire. If you're on pay as you go.

several times I received communications from Bank from Scotia Bank that my account has been tampered with. I do not have an account with Scotia Bank.
