Secure folder is automatically adding the new apps to it. How do I turn this off. I want to keep the secure folder but dont want it to install the apps without my permission. Any suggestions?

Hi, without adding apps manually after downloading are the apps directly going to the secure folder?

I have a problem too. As soon as I create a secure folders it doubles all my apps. It also has another folder for secure folder and I see that my permissions are locked down and secure Folder is the device administrator!

Yes, this is an annoying feature. Press and hold the app to select it, then select Hide. You can multi-select apps before tapping Hide. Hopefully someone will stop this from happening. I use my Secure Folder for work stuff, and my boss wasn't impressed to see I had apps in there that were not work related!

I had this same problem but solved.  By taking following steps

1. Open playstore outside secure folder.

2. Select any random app no need to install it, open description or details page.

3. There will be small down arrow next to install button click that.

4. Uncheck all other devices, only keep on this device checked.

Done

From now on all apps will only install outside secure folder.

Thanks

That does not solve the problem. @VIDIT03 , you tried @Y2kanani's steps. Did they solve it for you?
